Effect of Weissella cibaria on Fusobacterium nucleatum-induced Interleukin-6 and Interleukin-8 Production in KB Cells

Conclusions
The production of IL-6 and IL-8, both of which are proinflammatory cytokines produced by harmful bacteria, was significantly reduced when live W. cibaria(L-Wc) and killed W. cibaria(HK-Wc and FK-Wc) were incubated with F. nucleatum, the common oral bacteria which are harmful to the oral cavity.
